James has been directing South Florida Jubilee since May of 1999. He joined the Barbershop Harmony Society in 1991. Since that time he has sung with several choruses and quartets at the district and international level, most notably singing tenor with the 2006 Sunshine District Champs and 2008 International Semi-Finalists, HotShots. James is a certified judge in the singing category for the BHS contest and judging system.

Kimberly Heilbrun
Assistant Director

Kimberly is the Assistant Director of South Florida Jubilee Chorus. She is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia. She grew up singing in her school's chorus and participating in the musicals. She earned a BFA in Musical Theatre and moved to NYC to become a Star. After gaining a lot of experience as a waitress she switched gears, became a Massage Therapist and moved to Florida to escape the winters.

She joined Goldcoast Chorus in 2008. In 2013, she joined South Florida Jubilee Chorus and has been singing with them ever since. In 2019, she completed the Director's Certification Program and became the Assistant Director for SFJ. Kimberly has sung with many quartets over the years and currently sings Baritone with Notable and Lead with Marmalade Skies. Most recently, she completed the Beginner and Intermediate level of the Arranger's Certification Program. The Advanced level is hopefully on her horizon.
